HungryhouseProfile: The Hungryhouse web site gives people an easier way to find and order a takeaway. It serves London and several other UK cities. To start collecting payments from customers online, Hungryhouse wanted to integrate PayPal Website Payments Pro (UK).

Scope: Credit cards processing on hungryhouse web site was the major point for the  integration project. Customers should never leave the hungryhouse web site during checkout process. Payment transactions should be kept in the database for further analysis.

Details: Website Payments Pro (UK) HTTPS interface was used for the integration. The HTTPS interface allows you to post transactions directly to the PayPal servers. This is quite an easy, yet powerful way to handle payment transactions including credit cards.

There was no standard content management system in the back-end thus it was impossible to use integration packages and patches developed earlier. The code written from scratch was handling all the operations.
